Think a brand-new kitchen means perfect? Not always 👀 Here are 3 things you should check during your new construction walkthrough/inspection:

1️⃣ Test every cabinet & drawer
Open and close everything! Make sure doors align properly, drawers glide smoothly, and nothing is loose, scratched, or damaged.

2️⃣ Check outlets & appliances
Plug something in to test outlets and confirm appliances power on and function properly. Don’t forget to check under-cabinet outlets and kitchen island outlets too! 🔌

3️⃣ Inspect finishes up close
Look at countertops, backsplash, caulking, paint, and flooring in natural light. Small chips, gaps, scratches, or uneven finishes are easier to catch before closing day. 🔍
